old winchester 94 value??
« on: June 25, 2010, 09:27:49 PM »
Does anyone have a good resource to check the value of a Model 94 Winchester built in 1954? I searched the serial number and got the age of it...it's in great condition, it's a straight stocked .32WS and I got a smokin deal on it. It's my 3rd mod 94 but the only 1 I have that has any age to it really. I have one that is from 1975 too but I know that one is nothing too special other than a neat gun.

:)I do not know about value but a friend of mine hunts with one, except I think his might be a 92?? Have you ever noticed in that cartridge that the Remington ammo has a smaller base than the Winchester? My friends jambs with Rem feeds Win fine. He has an 86 also.

Gunbroker typically lists these from $700-$900 in good condition. I own 3  94's. Great gun and shot my first few deer with a model 94 32 ws.

yeah i thought the 32 would be more money but it depends on the model ran a quick search on a few sites safe guess would be around 600-800 but some of the rare models are around 1000-1200 in the 32ws

The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

When I was pricing 25-35s they were running on average $800 in that condition but they were a bit older.  :dunno:

I can't get it here at work but there's a few sites. I think this is a good one but it's blocked by the firewall here so I can't make sure...try it and see if it works.

If not then google something like "winchester serial numbers" or something along those lines. You'll need the serial number.

I have an old 30-30 winchester my Dad used to hunt with it;s really long and has an octagon barrell and holds lots of shells it has the old buckhorn sight and the axe blade front sight. It;s a neat old gun to look at and he shot a lot of bucks with it.
